October came and went in a flash. It was probably one of the busiest months in a while. We hosted friends and family 3 out of the 4 weekends, attended a wedding, saw a musical, all the while still balancing normal life and work. In the beginning of the month, I was definitely more inclined to complain about the jam-packed schedule, but as the month pressed on, I slowly realized I’m actually quite lucky.
Being able to host and spend so much quality time with friends and family is priceless. Both of which live out of state, so seeing them makes it all the more sweeter.
Getting to watch your good friend marry the love of this life is amazing. What a beautiful reason to celebrate all weekend long with your closest friends.
Going to the Pantages Theatre in LA is always a fun experience. It’s even more special seeing that long-awaited musical for your anniversary present.
Sometimes you have to take a step back and look at things from a different perspective. Yes, October was busy, but it was blessed. I’m so grateful to be healthy and able, to have a schedule so full of nothing but good. I get to live this beautiful life filled with such wonderful people and experiences. How did I get so lucky?
