Classic Restyle

I often feel like I have nothing to wear. I stick to my favorite pieces, which can get old after wearing them over and over again. When I feel uninspired by my wardrobe like this, I’m more tempted to shop for something new. I try to fight that urge by looking for creative ways to restyle clothes already hanging in my closet.

Shirt | Jeans (similar) | Heels (similar) | Purse (similar) | Glasses | Earrings | Lipstain

This classic white button-down pretty much lived in the back of my closet forgotten. Turns out, it’s actually the perfect light layer I need for these crisp fall mornings we are beginning to have. Normally I’d wear it tucked in, but I was never really thrilled about how it looked. So instead of wearing it like that, I got creative and tied the ends into a little bow. I seriously love how it turned out; It’s polished but playful and just what this outfit needed. I never really gravitated towards this shirt, but after styling it a different way, it’s now cataloged into the favorites!

While I love shopping for new clothes, I have great classics already hanging in my closet that can easily be restyled into a whole new look. It’s actually so satisfying finding new ways to wear pieces I already own and expanding my wardrobe without spending a dime!
